Art critic Preben Winther wrote:

'' Stylistically, she finds herself at the crossroads between fantasy, fable and undogmatic surrealism. Motivationally, she interprets the woman, the bird and the fairy tale. Her color tone and treatment of the coloristic endows the images with a distinctive, personal nerve. ''

Art historian, Mag. Art Lise-Lotte Blom wrote:

'' Henriette Lorentz's pictorial world is bursting with imagination and subtlety. There is constant movement in the many beings that swarm forth on the image surface. The birds of the sky, the animals of the sea and people from different cultures are constantly peeking out from their hiding places and seem to want to draw attention to another world that one might forget, namely the world of fantasy. Her works suggest a wisdom of life, which she expresses in enigmatic tales of life's controversies. ''
